Welcome to the Central Virginia Chapter

Greetings AFP Central Virginia!

Thank you all so much for the opportunity to serve as your 2017 Chapter President.

You work every day to make your organization great, so that our community can be even better. We know your time is precious to you and to your organization. Our goal is to be very intentional about the programming we bring to you in 2017.

I have to say that I am truly proud of the rich conversations that our board has had regarding each event to which we'll invite you, making sure that we deliver on:

  • Your desire to connect with other development professionals in meaningful ways that carry over into your day-to-day work.
  • Our collective need to stay close to trends that affect our work to make our community an even better place for everyone.

We anticipate a very rich year of programming and fellowship: watch your e-mail and this site for details on each program as they become available.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We'd love to hear from you. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

With gratitude,

Amanda Kennedy, CFRE
President, AFP Central Virginia
